How your assistant uses your Google Calendar
Connecting your Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, your assistant does exactly two things with it:
1. Checks when you're busy
Before offering a booking time to a customer, your assistant checks your calendar's free/busy information so it never books over your own plans. It reads only whether a time is busy - never the titles, details or guests of your events.
2. Adds the jobs it books
When your assistant books a job for you, it creates the event in your calendar so your own diary stays complete. It only ever edits or removes events it created itself.
